What is the advantage of the emulator for the original when there is a Mac version?

For some games like "Fable - The Lost Chapters" have a Mac version, so some may wonder: "Why emulate the Windows version instead of buying the Mac version?". Advantages:

1) The CD can be installed on Windows and emulated on the Mac, allowing you to install on two systems. The Mac CD installs only in Mac.
2) Allows the installation of translators (when it's necessary), which on the Mac version can be a headache.
3) It is cheaper:

Fable: The Lost Chapters (Mac): $26.83
Fable: The Lost Chapters (Windows): $17.61
Amazon.com prices

OK, the change is tiny, but with time, it becomes big. May be only $9.22, but every time you buy a game with a price that you pay the difference unnecessarily (buying 10 games you spend $92.20, now does not seem so small, doesn't it?).

The price of Mac games is not always bigger, and in these cases may be worth buying the Mac version:

SPORE (Mac/Windows): $14.65
Amazon.com price

In the case of Spore in particular, you still can install on Windows and Mac and have the possibility to change the language of the game, just changing the preferred language of the Mac (an act which I intend to learn to replicate on Wineskin, but for now I can't).

These are the advantages to emulate a Windows game, and also the advantages of having the original game (when the game exists, and when there is an advantage).
